Objectives:
Maximizing the use of solar energy to reduce the consumption of electrical energy focusing on public places such as youth center, school, mosques, church, etc., in Qaliubiya Governorate. |
Accomplishments:
- Installing 5 solar energy units with a capacity of 5 kilowatts and connecting them directly to the public grid.
- Spreading the idea of solar energy and knowing its uses among school and university students and the people of the region.
- The demand of many parties to implement solar energy cells in their premises to save the use of electric energy.
- Training of 100 young people on the maintenance and installation of solar panels.
- Activating and encouraging the use of a solar energy model in the association's branch in Shubra El-Kheima.
- Implementation of guidance campaigns and seminars to raise awareness and introduce the idea of renewable energy.
- Opening job opportunities for some young people in a new and unprecedented field in the Egyptian labor market.
