First: The technical aspect:
Applicants for the grant must consider the following points:
Submit a detailed project proposal on the program's approved form, fulfilling all technical requirements.
Provide clear, detailed information on the following:
The geographic area targeted by the activities (village/region/center/city)
The geographic area targeted by the activity (in acres/square kilometers).
Identify the direct impacts of the project activities on the local environment and link these impacts to global environmental issues (percentage increase in the area of cultivated land or land degradation mitigated, amount of carbon emissions reduction, number of species protected, preserved/propagated, volume of water rationalized, etc.)
Carefully identify the target groups according to the type of activities, indicating the number of direct and indirect beneficiaries of each activity (divided by men and women). Coordination with specialized national councils (women, persons with disabilities, etc.) is essential to ensure their effective participation.
The necessity of integrating youth into project activities
Adding a "Case Study and Documenting Success Stories" activity to project activities
Filming a 3-4-minute video documenting the project's successes and activities before, during, and after implementation
Providing a project summary in English
Second: Financial Aspect:
The estimated budget for the project should be submitted in Egyptian pounds, with the requested grant amount distributed as follows:
At least 70% of the grant value for main direct activities
At most 20% of the grant value for awareness-raising and capacity-building activities. This item includes (all printed materials, seminars, public conferences, workshops, training, home visits, surveys, field campaigns, website and social media development, etc.)
10% of the grant value for administrative expenses (salaries, headquarters rent, furniture, computers, office supplies, communications, operating expenses, etc.)
Considering the percentage of participatory funding (50% of the total project budget), such that the cash contribution is no less than 50% of the grant value requested by the program, and the in-kind contribution is no more than 50% of the requested grant value.
Proposal Submission Procedures
Proposals must be submitted on the program's approved technical and financial forms, fully completed, certified and stamped by the organization, and accompanied by the required supporting documents. They must be submitted either by:
Registered express mail (to be delivered before the deadline)

An official document proving the legal status of the entity submitting the project
A curriculum vitae of the organization detailing the most important activities it has implemented
If you have previously received funding from the program, please provide us with a copy of the previously concluded agreement
The organization's bylaws
A list of the organization's board members
Final accounts for the last two years of the organization, certified and stamped by the chartered accountant and auditor
A report from the Social Solidarity Directorate to which the organization belongs stating that its work is satisfactory and that it has no administrative or financial violations.
